I go by either "Steven" or "Steve" it really doesn't matter. I'm not a professional screenwriter anymore, so there's no need to suck up to me and send me your latest script. I have zero ambition to work in the entertainment industry. I'm now just a regular guy who knows a bit about storytelling, wants to share that knowledge to inspire new writers, and to share my work with everyone!
PODCAST: BBQ to Movies
Do you believe in the supernatural. I do – and then I don’t. After making this podcast, I realized how many strange ecounters I’ve had with things I can’t really explain. I really would love to know what you think about my encounters. Do you have one you’d like to […]
MAVERICK STORYTELLING: STEP ONE
THOSE LINES MEAN SOMETHING! Here’s a big warning. If you didn’t learn the basics of the Nine Personality Types, and haven’t memorized them somehow, it’s best not to proceed. You can proceed if you want to, but trust me on this, it’ll just start getting a bit more confusing because […]

The only thing that sucks about Fatman is the trailer because it gives you the impression that this movie, is some type of internet joke. The trailer falsely portrays Fatman as a movie that mashes up Die Hard with Santa. Well, that’s 1000% wrong. Santa isn’t trying to be John […]

The Mandalorian saved Star Wars, and it’s really that plain and simple. The series is not home to the best writing or direction, but that doesn’t matter, because it’s one million percent better than Star Wars: Episodes 8 &9. The fans are happy, I’m happy, and that’s what really counts […]

The Type Three “Achiever,” in my opinion, is the scariest type of personality because they can con you into believing anything! They are the best communicators, most likable personalities, and have a knack for drawing crowds. As for screenwriting, they are one of the funnest personality types to write. Tony […]

SCREENWRITING SAT. PODCAST
In today’s Screenwriting Saturday podcast, I chat about The Type One “Reformer.” This typically, is the hero character in a fantasy script, the Captain America, John Wick, or even Batman (on the unhealthy end). They fly by their own set of moral codes, often against the establishment. The podcast is […]
2020 GRADE A MOVIES / Enneagram: Type Four "Individualist"
PARIS HILTON IS NOT THE DITZY PRIVILEGED BLOND This will be just a quick review because I really want to just start dissecting Paris Hilton’s personality. If you have not seen this documentary, you should. The movie is well made and unbelievably honest given that it’s made by the person […]

DISHONEST & DISTURBING FILMMAKING “Netflix’s Cuties is too intelligent and moving to be marred by one bad-taste poster” – The Independent Uhm…what? Cuties is far from intelligent or moving, and it is more than just a bad-taste movie poster. It is a movie that crossed the line of decency, when […]
