I finally got around to watching Terminator: Dark Fate and was pleasantly surprised. The movie is good, real good.
Almost every critic out there, slammed this movie, labeling it as boring or disappointing. I don’t know why. It was well written and a lot more fun to watch than other recent Terminator movies. I’ll just say that they’re wrong.
The script is tightly written, it’s well-directed and well-acted. There are some liberal SJW points in here that would drive conservative loyalists crazy, such as the trending narratives of woman power, the ineffectiveness of a border wall, and illegal immigration. But all James Cameron movies are over-the-top crazy liberal. Terminator was about common day people fighting against the Military-Industrial Complex. Avatar was about evil marines who traveled to a distant planet to kill a tree that giant blue people had sex with. Let’s not forget to mention that these giants also had sex with their animals/war beast. You can’t get more liberal than that.
I do recommend that you take the time and spend the money to watch this, especially if you’re a fan of the early old school Terminators. Leave your conservative bias, like I did, at the door.
