TEAR JERKER (no spoilers)
Arthur is King is based on the true story of Michael Light, his racing team, and Arthur (a dog). Michael is a veteran professional adventure racer who’s never brought home the gold. He’s getting old, and before retiring, he wants one more shot. The adventure racer is predictably obsessed with winning, but as the race unfolds, he learns that bringing home the gold isn’t everything.
This movie is great for animal lovers, kids, and adults. It’s a tear-jerker, and that’s all I’ll say.
Arthur The King, from beginning to end, was honestly written and directed. What does honest mean? In a nutshell, it means it’s canon to reality. Characters are accurate portrayals of real-life personalities that have character arcs that the audience can relate to. Dishonest characters are what you will find in 95% of all Hollywood movies, and 99.9% of Hallmark movies. Should I say 100% of Hallmark movies? I mean, is there a crazy lovesick soul out there who is single because they have a problem with Christmas?
