Ever since Guardians of the Galaxy, I liked the actor Dave Bautista. His extreme dry humor cracked me up. Drax has got to be one of my favorite characters in the MCU.

Bautista didn’t disappoint in Stuber. His stale emotionless humor still delivers. Unfortunately, all the funny parts of the movie happened in the trailer and everything else was filler. The entire second act dragged and the co-actor, Kumail Nanjiani, had a role that just talked a bit too much.

In fact, he was the opposite of Bautista and overexplained his comedy. I’m not sure if that was improve or it was written that way. At one point, it just got too much.

It’s not a bad movie, but it’s not that great either. Worth $15? Hell no.

There were funny parts in here but not enough to push it past average. This movie won’t stay in theaters long so I’d probably wait till it hits HBO or Netflix.
