2019 GRADE A MOVIES

MOVIE REVIEW: Into the Spider-Verse (No Spoilers)

Probably the best Spider-Man movie to date!

Holy tamale Batman! This movie was freaking awesome! Where do I start? It’s well written. I mean, really well written. That script is – wow. Let’s just say it’s probably tough to write and they really pulled it off. I’m not even sure if I’m talented to write something like that. I guess that’s why I’m not a professional – haha! (Check out my ego)

I actually walked into the theater pretty tired tonight and I stayed awake for the entire time. That says something right? It didn’t even get a snore out of me.

My only complaint is the slightly cheesy stop motion animation effect. After a while, you get used to it and you don’t notice it, but come on people. Can we stop trying to be too artistic here? And some of the graphics seemed as though they were blurred in an old fashioned 3-D way. You know, those red-blue 3-D glasses? A bit over the top if you ask me. Keeping it a bit more simple could have made things a bit easier on the eyes. Make sure you don’t sit too up close to the screen so that stop motion effect is lessened.

Other than that, this is definitely making my 2019 must-see list. It may even be worth purchasing an Amazon Stream.

Oh yeah, this movie – it’s kid friendly!

I go by either "Steven" or "Steve" it really doesn't matter. I'm not a professional screenwriter anymore, so there's no need to suck up to me and send me your latest script. I have zero ambition to work in the entertainment industry. I'm now just a regular guy who knows a bit about storytelling, wants to share that knowledge to inspire new writers, and to share my work with everyone!
