THIS WAS A FUN MOVIE
I just watched The Adam Project last night, while smoking a brisket, and I loved every second of it. It’s a fun movie that had me smiling all the way through. There are some critics who have said this movie is “Fun yet forgettable.” Well, I think you can just take their two cents, and throw it in the trash. Who in the world forgets anything that’s fun? I mean, don’t you remember the fun moments in your life?
Oh, that’s right.
Critics only like movies that are dark, violent, and have some type of woke agenda forced into it.
The Adam Project stars four Marvel heavyweights: Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Zoe Salanda; and they all do a great job. Walker Scobell, who plays young Ryan Reynolds, nails Ryan Reynold’s cocky humor and attitude. Great job kid.
The script was written very tight, with characters who had true to life personality types:
ADAM – Unhealthy Type Eight, also suffered from constant feelings of abandonment, and was a compulsive rule breaker. I don’t think there was one rule he followed in this movie.
LOUIS REED (Adam’s Father) – The Type Five Intellect – who loved research more than his family
MAYA SORIAN – The Type Three “Achiever” self-obsessed venture capitalist who wanted not only money, but the notoriety that went along with success.
The movie started fast, had a purpose all the way through the 2nd Act, and finished clean and honest at the end.
This is how you write a great script. TAKE NOTE!
